Halo: Flashpoint Event: STL Standard Issue Event

With all the new rules, new units, and new players joining in on the Halo fun, it is time to get back to some basic Fireteams. Join the St. Louis, MO community for a 4-round, new-player freindly tournament we are calling: Standard Issue.

Standard Issue Format Rules

• • Players must build a 150 point Fireteam list using the Halo Index and the latest rules, updates and FAQs.
  • Fireteams cannot include any Legendary characters. (No Master Chief, No Noble Team, No Atriox, etc.)
  • Rounds are 1 hour and 17 min. long in honor of Master Chief.

• • 10:00 am - 11:00 am:  Set-up tables*, check-in, and pay $10 to the host store. 
  • 11:00 am - 11:15 am:  Tournament overview.
  • 11:15 am - 12:32 pm:  ROUND 1
  • 12:40 pm - 1:57 pm:  ROUND 2
  • 1:55 pm - 2:30 pm:  Quick food break
  • 2:30 pm - 3:47 pm:  ROUND 3
  • 3:55 pm - 5:12 pm:  ROUND  4
  • 5:10 pm - 5:45 pm Clean-up tables
  • 5:45 pm: Awards and Appreciations
  • 6:00 pm:  (optional) Dinner as a community

* Players are encouraged to bring a custom table built using the Halo: Flashpoint Map Generator - Digital PDF rules to play on and/or set up a table they think would be fun to play on. We enjoy and encourage custom tables!

Tournament Awards

We are using the Halo Index to run our tournament. The tournament includes standard achievements (no scenario-specific achievements), and success is measured by Tournament Points. All entry fees are divided among the following awards.

• • The players with the top 3 Tournament Points get 1st, 2nd, and 3rd respectively.
  • The player with the most Headshots over the course of the day gains the Head Honcho award. If there is a tie, a roll-off will ensue.
  • Players will get a chance to vote for the army they believe is the coolest army (by whatever standard they choose.) An Award is given to the Coolest Army.
  • The player who chose diplomacy over other methods of winning gets the Passive Fist award.
